ESS Password Resets

posted Sep 9, 2015, 1:44 PM by David Ray
Please note that we receive a very high volume of ESS password reset requests.  This can be as high as 200-300 requests in a given day.  Our office process these requests on a first-come, first-serve basis.  It may take up to 3 business days to process an individual request.  Also, the ESS portal is an extension of the HRM Payroll system. So when the payroll system is unavailable for monthly processing, ESS is also unavailable for password resets.

When you request an ESS password reset from the Payroll Help Desk please be sure to include your 10-digit employee id (obtainable from your agency's HR representative or on your paystub) and your date of birth (for identity verification).

The ESS portal does make a self-service password reset (Forgot My Password link) available.  However, to take advantage of this you will need to setup a password hint in ESS upon a successful logon.  Please contact the Payroll Help Desk if you have any questions about setting up that password hint.
