Cost Accounting Training Sessions –
March 17-18th
This cost accounting training is a multi-divisional and multi-day training set for the following dates and times: March 17th: 9am-11:30 am, March 17th: 1pm-3pm, March 18th: 9am-noon, March 18th: 1p.m-4p.m.
The agenda for the multi-day training is as follows:
Part 1: Welcome to cost accounting, examples of cost accounting, benefits of cost accounting, information about the differences between fund and cost accounting.
Part 2: Continued benefits of cost accounting and mapping of cost accounting structures, including best practices for annual, multiple-year and unique grants using program period codes and roll-ups.
Part 3: Overview of labor cost allocation and demonstrations, information about federal award reporting and a demonstration of cost accounting setup in WOLFS.
Part 4: Information about special features to cost accounting set-up, including an in-depth demonstration of complex funding profiles related to match requirements, overflow and multiple reporting requirements. This section will end with an open virtual lab for attendees who have specific set-up questions or need technical assistance.
Anyone that signs up will need to attend all four sessions. These sessions will be held remotely.
